Now just today i was speaking to Jason Heerah, the man in the drumming seat for The Singing Bee and Australia's Got Talent and asked him how his Kahzan cymbals were cutting it on the gig. I was helping a mother and her boy choose some new cymbals for his kit, spending a lot of time trying different cymbals out so we could best match a sound to what he had to spend. At the end of this process the mother thanked me for my patience and advice and making the purchase an easy and informative process. Finally i have to say the vibe and sense of community associated with The Secret Drum Day that was held on March 28th was nothing short of amazing. The information presented on the day was really the first of it's kind in Australia and has only made the desire of Trav Demsey and myself even gretaer to ensure that the next Secret Drum Day will be even bigger and better. So a big thanks to the guests namely Darren Perkins, Dr. Melissa Arkinstall, Cam McGlinchey, Trav Demsey, Tony Floyd and Pete Luscombe and to the audience for making this a truly great drumming day.
