1.    what first inspired you to become a drummer?

Well, when I was about 2 years old I was bashing away at pots and pans, and have never stopped playing since. My dad and friends used to play a lot of music so I guess it was conditioned into me at a young age which I feel blessed for.

2.    anything that you’ve learnt along the way that’s really helped you as a drummer?

I think it’s a great discipline, also developing the ability to bring myself into the drumming as much as possible, rather than just playing it as a separate thing.

3.    who have you and/or who are you playing with at the moment and what are the bands movements?

My main band is Sadhana, which I suppose you could call prog/rock, we have just released our debut E.P which will be launching in September, I love playing that kind o f music. Also I do percussion/drums for a few others including, Tania Davies, Adam Shero and Glen Patrick’s who is also about release his second E.P

   Anything to plug?

Yes Sadhana will be launching our Debut E.P on Sat 5th of September @ the evelyn hotel. It will be a great show and tickets are already selling fast, so if you think you might be into that kind of thing, check out our website:                                                     www.myspace.com/sadhanaband

4.    what gear are you using at present?

I use sleishman Canadian maple shells, evans ec2 heads, ufip class, natural and bionic series cymbles, spds sampler, black panther mapex brass snare, and a sonor jungle snare, also I have recently purchased a sleishman double pedal which is like something I have never seen before but is a great design which keeps you centered in the kit..

5.    what would be your dream gig?

My dream gig would be headlining something like Lollapalooza!

6. favourite drummers and/or bands and why?

Danny Carey, Chad Smith, Both in my opinion are graceful and tasty, totally being themselves and appealing to such a broad audience.
