The Secret Drum Day has being and gone and i have to say that the feedback from those that attended has been nothing short of fantastic. There was an amazing amount of helpful information with regard to health and posture, dealing with 'delicate individuals', setting goals and been persistent, being 100% passionate about your craft, creating new sounds and a great forum in which all the drummers sat upfront and answered an array of audience questions.

So a Big Thanks in order of appearance goes out to Darren Perkins, Dr Melissa Arkinstall, Cam McGlinchey, Trav Demsey, Tony Floyd and Pete Luscombe for your generosity and time - hopefully we will see more punters next time!

And we were able to raise enough funds to buy a drumkit to supply to the education department to allocate to one of the schools that rebuilds after the devastating bushfires. So to everyone involved well done.

Thanks to our sponsors Evans for supplying so many great prizes in between each act, Whitelion for all the great work they do in the community, the Stonnington and Northcote Leader newspapers, Inpress, MX and the awesome 3 PBS FM, The Age's EG for promoting the Secret Drum Day, christie at themusic.com.au, Trav's poster guy, and Michael Findlay for his pix of the day, Paul Frangos and to my family for helping out on the day.

We will be back bigger and better next time round - you can bank on that!
