Darren’s Teaching Philosophy

“To assist in the growth and goal achieving of each student.

The approach being to treat each student as a unique individual with very different needs that are addressed with clarity, commitment, and a passion for results.

I develop body movement, posture and long term technical needs as a direct tool for long term enjoyment and a high level of personal performance.

This should make the student far more confident with all aspects of the instrument leaning towards hopefully a long term enjoyment of music and the drumset”.

“The love of music and its benefits and its far reaching benefits foe emotional expression and as a healthy creative outlet are paramount to me and my communication of this to my students and peers is consistent with my belief that it is therapy of a powerful nature that we all can understand and feel”.
